Pennsylvania Sheriffs’ Association Action PAC Endorses Meg Sullivan

10/13/2021

We are thrilled to announce that Megan Sullivan’s campaign for Pennsylvania Superior Court has earned yet another major endorsement, this time from the Pennsylvania Sheriffs’ Association Action PAC.

“Your commitment to prosecuting and bringing offenders to justice, especially in child abuse cases while working in the Chester County DA’s Office and your support of law enforcement issues were key to the decision by the Committee,” said Michael T Slupe, Secretary/Treasurer of the Action PAC and Sheriff of Butler County. Slupe noted that the decision was voted on by a bipartisan committee of six elected sheriffs which includes three Republicans and three Democrats.
The Pennsylvania Sheriffs’ Association Action PAC is just the latest statewide law enforcement group to endorse Megan Sullivan for Pennsylvania Superior Court. Other statewide law enforcement groups that have endorsed Megan include the Pennsylvania Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge, the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association, the Pennsylvania State Corrections Officers Association, and the Pennsylvania County Detectives Association.

Come Out Sunday to Support Meg in the Homestretch!

RWCC's own... Megan Sullivan for Superior Court Judge

6/8/2021

It’s official, Megan is our PA candidate for Superior Court Judge and we couldn't be prouder. Megan has been a long time leader within the Republican Women of Chester County organization.

Megan Sullivan won the primary race for Superior Court and the Republican turnout was high! The momentum is on her side, but we need to keep it going! Megan is running to return trust and integrity to our court system!

With a platform of judicial integrity, respect for our Constitution, our laws, and the clear role of the judiciary--  Megan vows to fight with Grit and Grace and pledges that if she is elected she will fulfill her role as a Judge as it is defined in the Constitution. For too long, we have had judges that legislate from the bench and ignore the clearly defined role of the judiciary.

"Enough is enough!" says Megan.

Meg is a veteran litigator with over twenty years of legal experience. Meg had earned the reputation of a tough prosecutor in the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and as a Deputy Attorney General. She also developed extensive civil litigation experience in private practice and as an Assistant General Counsel for West Chester University.
Meg is well regarded by the legal community, and after a rigorous vetting process she received a “Recommended” by her peers at the PA Bar Association, where the Judicial Review Committee noted she “provided well-written samples of her work, and she is very well regarded by her peers being described as well-prepared, open and honest, and collegial.” You can find out more about Megan at this link.

Million Maga March Proves that Love Lives Here

On a beautiful Saturday morning, on November 14, 2020, seven suburban women and one man began their hopeful trek from Chester County to Washington, DC. Some of them were meeting each other for the first time, now allied by a common goal – to show their love for President Donald Trump and let their voices be heard above the false narratives, questionable election practices, and intimidation from the Left.

Filling two cars, the eight patriots discussed the positive impact that President Trump has had on our economy, prison reform, deregulation, revitalized military, and renegotiation of bad international trade deals. They shared how they felt their voices had been silenced at work, in public places, on social media, and by the “fake news” media. It was cathartic to be able to speak out loud about how much they appreciated this great man.
Exiting their cars at the train station in Maryland, most of the group felt compelled to hide their MAGA hats, flags and banners. Some had a lingering fear of confrontation with “haters.”

Let Freedom Ring
They continued their conversation on the train, arriving at the Freedom Plaza station. As they ascended the escalator to Pennsylvania Avenue, they felt the warmth of the sun and a growing excitement at seeing the sea of red hats, waving flags, and broad smiles of their fellow American Patriots. No longer fearful, the Chester County Eight put on their MAGA hats, unfolded their Trump/Pence flags and banners and joined the peaceful, joyful crowd moving towards Freedom Plaza.

Along the way, the band of eight met travelers from California, Georgia, Ohio, Nevada and many other states representing diverse cultures, religious affiliations, and ethnicities.  The dedication and passion that empowered so many to come from all parts of the country was impressive. All of this for President Donald Trump. The crowd would alternate between singing the national anthem and chanting “Stop the Steal” and “Trump, Trump, Trump.”  At Freedom Plaza they were inspired by the multiple speakers who demanded investigations and recounts in the states that had questionable behaviors and election results. They detailed the many successes the Trump Administration. The list was long.

Love Overshadows Hate
As the crowd began the 30-minute walk to the Supreme Court, the group from Chester County was struck by the endless ocean of Trump supporters climbing the sloping street before them. Looking behind, they were equally in awe when the saw the massive crowd of Patriots behind them. They determined that, in fact, there were hundreds of thousands who came out to support our President and our Democracy – not “thousands” as the news media claimed.

Hate was met with love when the crowd of Trump supporters began chanting, “We love everyone. We love everyone,” to a sole agitator, dressed in black, who spewed hate from a megaphone.

The positive feelings of hope, fellowship and support from the massive crowd was uplifting. This was further proof that when it comes to Trump supporters – “Love lives here.” Their united energy seemed to create a forcefield which protected the Maga Marchers all the way to the Supreme Court grounds. Their spirit was impenetrable, despite more than 4 years of attacks, lies, threats, and hate from the Left and their media puppets.

The Silenced Majority – No More
The team from Chester County joined the massive crowd gathered in front of the Supreme Court. They were there to protest the stolen election, the news media, and the censorship from the liberal cancel culture. They listened to Conservative voices uncensored by Big Tech and “Hate News.” They called for justice in an election marred with suspicion, fraud and cheating. They believed the stolen election was designed to erase Conservative voices and votes. They had had enough. “We the people” were reclaiming their voice.

When the speakers were finished, the crowd made their way back to Freedom Plaza and their means of transportation. A few Trump supporters who separated from the pack down a side street, were harassed and attacked by the radical left and Antifa thugs. Dozens of police vehicles made their way to quickly intercede.

The group from Chester County returned to the train station unscathed. Empowered by the day, the Chester County Eight now wore their Trump Hats and buttons on the train ride back. They no longer felt silenced, at least for that day.
Their collective hope was that their spoken truths would not fall on deaf ears. We all know how that turned out.

The “Hate News” media and certain Left-wing politicians called this large gathering of good-hearted Conservatives some pretty awful things, not worth repeating.

Antifa and radical agitators (let’s call them criminals) came out after dark to attack again. The media embraced them.
Yet, just as love lives in the heart of these patriots, so does hope – to keep America great!

Protect Girls Rights    #SaveGirlsSports

Save Girls Sports
The ACLU is fighting to allow biological boys to play on girls sport's teams.
The Family Policy Alliance needs our help to save girls sports.

The ACLU wants to enable biological boys to compete in girls sports. Once a champion of girls’ sports – now the ACLU wants to turn boys into girls’ sports champions by using a federal law, Title IX.
The law was enacted to prevent discrimination against women and girls in educational opportunities, including in school sports. It has helped ensure that girls are not kept on the sidelines.  Historically, Title IX has been used — by the ACLU itself — to advance opportunities for girls and women. But now, the ACLU, has filed a lawsuit to exploit Title IX to let biological men steal those very opportunities from girls.

Why is allowing boys to play on girl's sports teams unfair to girls?   It is unfair because biological boys have numerous physiological advantages that make it hard or even impossible for female athletes to compete against them. Males have greater bone density, muscle mass, and larger hearts and cardiovascular capacity than girls. Even cross-sex hormones don't lessen a biological boys physiological advantage over girls.

In contrast to the ACLU claims,  the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights recently ruled that a policy allowing boys to compete on girls’ teams violates Title IX. The Department’s reasoning is that if we allow biological boys on girls’ sports teams, we are denying girls the opportunity to compete fairly because the boys have a biological advantage that can take away winning spots in competitions and scholarships from girls.

National Day of Prayer... Chester County Prayer

5/7/2020

May 7 is the National Day of Prayer. Now more than ever we need prayer. Join us in reciting the Chester County Prayer.

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14

Our Holy Heavenly Father,
We praise You that You are all powerful and possess all knowledge, that Your presence reaches to the depths of the seas You created.

We pray that Your Holy Spirit fills the earth with the power and majesty of Your glory…and with the knowledge of Yourself.

It is with humility that we bow before You today as a county and as a nation to invoke Your healing across our land and throughout the world.

May Your presence be manifested in every heart as we seek Your face for wisdom in these difficult times.
We ask forgiveness for our lack of trust and obedience to Your Word.

Grant us reprieve from the devastation that has overwhelmed our nation. Just as the seas produce turbulence and seemingly insurmountable waves, we embrace Your words in the upheaval… “Peace Be Still”.

Send a calm, fresh, and gentle breeze through our land as we relinquish our cares to You and turn our hearts to Your Word, Your healing, and Your direction.

Fill the earth with the knowledge of Yourself and Your glory, as You purposed before the creation of the seas.
We pray that Your grace and mercy will shine forth as evidence of Your majesty and that we will reflect Your image and seek to fulfill Your purposes, thus glorifying You as we work together to accomplish Your resolve.

Amen.

3 Ways Republicans lead the charge for better education in Chester County and Pennsylvania

1/9/2020

Republicans advance education in Chester County
One of the advantages in living is Chester County includes the highly rated school districts and education. When it comes to K-12 education throughout 12 school districts, Chester County can boast having some of the best school districts and teachers in Pennsylvania, according to Philadelphia magazine and Niche.  As women, made up of mom's, students, artists, owners, retirees, residents, working professionals, and elected officials, we want to keep Chester County education at the top of every list.

Our Republican elected officials continue to work tirelessly to make sure the children of Chester County receive world class education by planning strong budgets, offering education tax credits, and enabling school choice.

 1. Republicans fight for a healthy education budget in PA and Chester County

Your Republican Pennsylvania State Representatives diligently represented your voice in demanding stronger financial support of education programs and schools. For the last 5 years,  Pennsylvania and Chester County Representatives have pushed for a higher education budget, despite Governor Tom Wolf not signing the PA budget for 3 out of those 5 years.

Education is a priority to every family and individual in Chester County. Our Republican elected officials recognized that highly ranked school districts not only benefit Chester County students, but also benefits homeowners, residents, and businesses in Chester County.

2.  Thanks to Republicans, families can choose the best school for their child(ren) in Chester County.

Chester County parents and legal guardians want to ensure that their child(ren) have the best education available. Thanks to Republican elected officials, they continue to have this choice. School choice means that families can determine the best educational environment for their children regardless of the location of their home school district. This includes inter-district choice, Charter Schools, cyber-charter schools, educational tax credits, and opportunity scholarship tax credits.

Thanks to school choice and Republicans, some school districts in the Pennsylvania Commonwealth have made innovative curriculum changes to keep pace with school choice options and improve education for students. Sadly, many Democratic elected officials, don't support school choice in PA.

3. Pennsylvania's educational tax credits help to fund PA and Chester County school districts

Pennsylvania was the first state in the country to introduce a tax credit to businesses and corporations introduced by Republicans in 2001. Today, educational tax credits are available to eligible businesses contributing to a Scholarship Organization, an Educational Improvement Organization, and/or a Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organization.

Under the Educational improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC), businesses receive tax credits equal to 75 percent of their contribution, up to a maximum credit of $750,000 per taxable year. If PA and Chester County businesses agree to donate the same amount for two consecutive tax years, they see an increase to 90 percent of their contribution for both tax years.

In addition, with contributions to Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organizations, businesses may receive a tax credit equal to 100 percent of the first $10,000 contribution, and 90 percent for the remaining amount contributed up to a maximum credit of $200,000 annually.

For more information on these educational tax credit programs, please visit Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development website.

Voting Republican means voting for great education in PA

The choice is clear. Republicans are leading the charge to keep PA and Chester County education at the top of their priority list, as well as, the top of the school ranking lists.
